Today was pretty uneventful since Chris spent most of it resting quietly. Even though Chris wasn’t supposed to have visitors while he is recovering from the surgery, Tiff and Earl made an exception because they know how much Chris wants to see Sam and Kaleb. So, today, Sam, Kaleb, Diego and Andy visited. During their visit, Chris was able to smile at them and even show a little bit of personality, despite not being able to talk.
The doctors will check his bandages tomorrow and do some wound care for the first time since his surgery. If everything looks good, Chris may get his breathing tube out tomorrow. Just like the first time he had the breathing tube, Chris really wants it out!

All of you reading this, please do me a favor: I really want Chris to know how many people are pulling for him. I wish that I could figure out how to see how many hits this website gets so that I could tell Chris the number of people that are reading. Since I can't figure that out, I would appreciate it if you guys could leave a comment, even if it is very brief, just so we can show Chris how many people care. Thanks!

I just sat staring blankly at the screen trying to think of the right thing to say, but then realized that there isn't one. I want you to know that my prayers go out to you, as do many others.
Chris I have always considered you a good friend, even when me and your bro were beating you up! Dont worry though cause I'll still do that when you get better. haha All jokes aside I care about you and wish you a fast and healthy recovery. Try to keep high spirits and know that there are a ton of people who care about you. Im one of your biggest fans!

This is Kathy McDonald. I actually don't know Chris,( have heard only good things) but I am very fond of Tiff, and can only imagine what the whole family is going through. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I will definitely check this site often for updates. The later posts are sounding very encouraging!

I guess not many people call you Christopher but that is who you are to me. I just want you, your mom and dad to know, that since I first heard about your accident you have constantly been on my mind and in my prayers.
When I saw the pictures it was very emotional and gut wrenching to see in such a state; but we all know what a fighter you are and this will not keep you down either. Tiffany and Earl sometimes is pays off to have stubborn, strong-minded children, right?
